Greetings My Dear Chums
I am grateful to have the opportunity to acquaint you with a new correspondent who is shortly to join the band of intrepid reporters at The Gentlemen Adventurer’s Chronicle.
May I present the Rt. Hon. Mr. Godwit Bream, a wanderer and a poet.
Mr Bream will be performing that most necessary function to any publication dedicated to the outdoors lifestyle. His wide ranging portfolio is charged with combining the wonders and delights of the natural world with the beauty of poetry and prose.
I fully expect his thought provoking journeys to be a challenge for the mind and the soul equally as much as any ‘physical endurances’. It is my sincerest belief that his contributions will be uplifting to both the spirit and anima .
Godwit Bream has a reputation for producing the highest quality literature. He is an accomplished wanderer and a writer of poetry and prose. He is readily acknowledged by his contemporaries as something of a Bohemian and a Romantic. I sincerely hope that you enjoy his efforts, and I will look forward with you to his regular contributions.
I have decided to set his work within columns under the byline of ‘The Last Minstrel’, an acknowledgement to the influence of Sir Walter Scott, who in so many ways is a beacon and a guide to this publication. In this place, Mr Bream will be handed his freedom to enlighten and entertain us.
I have asked him to take readers on his journeys, treating us as fellow travellers upon the roads leading deep into the heart and soul of the natural world.
It is my sincerest hope that you all achieve benefit from his endeavours.
Echo Sweetly BV
